In today’s tough economic times, training our Youth is a very important task. We want our Youth to be aware of the scope of Relief and Social Service where Muslims can become a voice of change.

The Summer Internship Program (SIP) at the HHRD provides an opportunity to spend the summer working side-by-side with some of the most dedicated relief workers who will mentor them in an environment devoted exclusively to the field of social services.

A pioneer of Islamic activism in the United States, M. Naziruddin Ali’s exemplary dedication to the Muslim American community is illustrated by his life long association with MSA National, Islamic Society of North America, and North American Islamic Trust, for which he served as General Manager for twenty years. Beginning as local chapter president and Chicago community activist, he served as president of MSA National for two terms and was integral in facilitating the establishment of the Islamic Society of North America during this period.  His tireless service, sincerity, and unwavering commitment proved to be crucial in the birth and development of each of these organizations.

In coordination with The Committee For Justice In Palestine, We encourage your devoted participation in the events planned for this week. Remember there is strength in numbers. If you’re interested in participating in the Die-In, Mock Check Point, and/or Human Wall- please email Banan Al-Akhras at alakhras.1@buckeyemail.osu.edu, Pouneh B. Navabi via facebook, or Ashanthi DeSilva at desilva.77@buckeyemail.osu.edu. You can also join the facebook groups, links attached below.
