2. OSU Sisters Circle (Every Thur)
Join the Sisters weekly to strengthen you eman, the bonds of sisterhood and dedicate time to Allah in the midst of the craziness that is college life.

• Description: We’ll be focusing on tafseer of ibn Katheer. A bit of word for word analysis of ayahs, arabic grammer, and overall meaning of ayahs and how they apply to our lives. Insha’Allah, we will finish off the six pillars of eman this quarter. For this tuesday we will have ice breakers, some reminders and awesome points concerning Jannah and the characteristics of those people who enter such an abode.

4. Presenting Without PowerPoint: Why You Need To & How (Thur April 9)

• Date: Thursday, April 9th

• Description: No matter what your field of interest is, or what extracurriculars you enjoy, this topic is for you! All of us at some point will need to speak publically, whether it be in the classroom or on a stage. To that end, Amy Watson from the Center for Students and Learning Services will present a workshop on public speaking and developing the necessary skills to do it. She will focus on our tendency to rely heavily on PowerPoint presentations, and how to strengthen our skills so we can speak without it.Friends don’t let friends miss opportunities like this!

Refreshments will be provided.
