You are all invite to our weekly General Body Meeting (GBM) this coming WED @ 6:30pm.  Come out to meeting new people, see old friends and have FREE PIZZA.  We will announce the results of the MSA elections.

5. Imam Siraj Wahhaj Day (Fri May 8th) [please read]
Message from MSA National President Asma Mirza

Assalamu Alaykum All,

I pray that this e-mail finds you well.

As you know, our beloved Imam Siraj Wahhaj has been diagnosed with cancer. Despite several fundraising efforts to date he needs approximately $75,000 to cover his medical bills.

In conjunction with Imam Suhaib Webb, other National Organizations and with the consent of Imam Siraj, MSA National is calling for Friday, May 8th to be appointed as Imam Siraj Day.  The objective is to have groups fundraise after Jummah for our Imam.  If 150 MSAs raise $500 then we will have been able to raise the entire $75,000.

With this event only 1 week away, we need your help.

Please forward this message MSAs and ask them to join in this effort by fundraising after Jummah Ask MSAs to put the logo & link to www.msanational.org/imamsiraj on their website

A few well placed Khutbahs and we will be able to help this Imam who has given his entire life to serve Allah swt by serving the American Muslim Community.  I truly believe in the power of the Muslim Student community, lets help unleash it for this important cause.
