MSA EVENTS & ACTIVITIES

1. MSA General Body Meeting (Fridays)

 

• What: General Body Meeting
• When: Friday, January 15
• Where: Scott Lab room 0040
• Who: Everyone is welcome
• Why: To eat Adriatico’s pizza, and chill with some sweet people

2. OSU Sisters Circle (Mondays)

 

• Join the Sisters weekly to strengthen your eman, the bonds of sisterhood and dedicate time to Allah in the midst of the craziness that is college life. (*NOTE: day and location change)

**Note** Because of the MLK holiday, this week we will go out to dinner at La Vash restaurant (info here). Do NOT meet at Scotts lab, we will meet at the restaurant at 6pm. Carpooling is encouraged.

• Time: usually 4:30 to 6:30 PM *not this week
• Meeting place: usually Scott Lab Room 103 *not this week
• Description: The Muslim sisters of OSU invite you to join the Sisters’ Circle. We are meeting every Monday. On alternating weeks, we will have a HALAQA one week and a SOCIAL EVENT the next week (i.e. dinner, ice-skating, wall-climbing…etc).

3.     Opportunity from USG

The Undergraduate Student Government (USG) of OSU is now accepting applications for “Academic Enrichment Grants.” These grants are worth up to $500 and they can be used towards anything from studying abroad to research, or any other project you have in mind. The condition is that you must prove this grant will help enrich your academic experience outside the traditional classroom.
